015-1-G – Painters/Drywall installers

Preparing all type of surfaces before painting.Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers. Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites. Removes old paint coating, if necessary. Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.

As a Drywall Installer and Finisher, your duties may include the following: Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. Positioning and securing drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs. Cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Measuring, marking and cutting aluminum plates, profiles, bars and beams using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment
• Required skills and qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings
  • Working knowledge of safety assembly procedures
  • Knowledge of assembly tools and equipment
  • Physical ability to lift 23 kg and stand for long periods of time

A copy of the identity card
Proof of work experience or certified recommendation
After confirmation of employment:
- Certificate of good conduct

International driving license
